About the UP West Line
The Metra Union Pacific West Line runs from downtown Chicago through the western suburbs, including Wheaton. The Wheaton station is located at 402 W. Front St, walking distance from our church.
Getting to Church from Wheaton Station
From the Wheaton Metra station, it's approximately .6 miles to Church of the Great Shepherd at 903 West Liberty Drive. You can:
- Taxi/Rideshare: About a 1 minute ride
- Walking: Approximately 12 minutes
Sunday Service Times from Chicago
To arrive for our 10:00 AM worship service, we recommend taking an early morning train. The UP West Line typically has trains departing Union Station as early as 6:00 AM on Sundays.

Pace Suburban Bus serves the Wheaton area with several routes connecting to Metra stations, shopping centers, and other key destinations in DuPage County.

- Route 301: Runs along Roosevelt Road, travels to and from the Wheaton Metra Station. From the station, the church is a 0.6-mile walk
Sunday Service
Pace bus service on Sundays may have reduced frequency. We recommend checking the Pace schedule in advance for Sunday morning times to ensure you can arrive for our 10:00 AM worship service.
